I love how the media jumps to his side. The commentator states, "by watching this video it is clear that his actions were justified." Now had this been an armed citizen I am sure the response could have been much different. Probably questioning why he immediately drew and fired when they could have been unarmed or blah blah blah. Cops are on his side issuing a statement praising him immediately as well. Again, had it been an armed citizen the statement would have been, "we are investigating the situation at this time, but it appears his actions were justified."

The fact that he was so quick was very impressive though. Not sure where his first shot went but it looked like his second one hit the guy that went down.

The vid I saw did not have a terribly quick draw...... just an alert guard..... who reacted apropriately- got up and moving, created distance ...... good use of cover, too.

The talking heads in the media around here would have reported it as '...the victim of the guards shooting only managed to crawl to safety before collapsing to be rescued by police and rushed to a local area hospital...' glad this one got it right.

It is not a "quick-draw" but a decisive, thoughtful, tactical response to deadly situation when many/most would be on condition White. This brave soul was on condition Orange Plus. Very impressive. Thanks for the link.

The dude did a great job. I think the key was that his first move, before even getting up, was to put his hand on his gun. (It's a definite advantage to open carry.) Then, no wasted motion when he stood up. Good movement, and shooting on the move.

after-action review...

I watched the clip. He did good. :D

Bear in mind, he was alert due to the constant armed attacks of these type businesses in Florida.
