can someone identify this Browning pistol case?

It's from the 70's. The guy I got it from seems to think it came with a Buckmark, but the Hi-Power cases look similar. I've actually seen these for sale on Guns America for a hundred dollars because of the vintage appeal. I don't expect to get a hundred bucks for it, but if there's a demand at all for it I'd rather not just give it away.

Thanks!

I'm sorry, my friend, but that is vinyl and cheap fleece, with only a gold logo on it. You could pick those very things up all over the country for a pittance during the 80s, with many different logos. The chinese don't care about copyright infringement.

Browning Challengers came with those cases in certain multi-barrel versions. (Not the Buckmark Challenger, but the original Challenger.)

But... I agree with briandg: It's probably just a sporting goods store purchase.

thanks for the info guys. anybody has any else please feel free to chime in.

I wish it was for a Hi Power, and I wish I had a Hi Power to put in it. :D

I think it's just a generic gun rug. Works for any handgun that will fit inside. As others have said it probably wasn't produced by Browning for any particular gun.

Hi-Power Cases

Both Hi-Power cases I own have a red, flannel appearing lining. Ane those cases go for $100 often. Don't know if they where offered seperate from the guns.

Such a gem of wisdom!

The fleece lined cases were for the Nomad and Challenger pistols (the originals, not the Challenger IIs), and were made by the Kolpin Co. in the U.S. A. as far as I know and NOT China.

Put it on eBay. You should get a good buck for it.

S&W-Keeper is correct. I had forgotten that all of the "factory" cases had the red lining.

The earlier pouches had red cloth linings, but later factory cases were fleece lined. In fact, pouches of any kind were discontinued not long after the fleece cases were used.
