Now that Im not typing from a phone heres the question. So my ed brown 826 firing pin, it fits through the breech face just fine, very good fit, no dragging or anything so the tip fits. My only concern was if there wasnt a round in the chamber will the spring stop the ed brown pin from bottoming out on the rear side of the breech face? I also am thinking it is correct to use the firing pin spring that came with my wolff recoil spring rather than the oversized overpowered stock Springfield 1911a1 firing pin spring that was meant for a titanium pin. No problems with the stock pin, I would rather have steel. So what I have done so far was chuck the ed brown up in my drill and use 1000 gr sand paper while the firing pin spins with the drill, material comes off slowely but that is good.

Or should I just use the 826 pin as is.

Nevermind I figured it out, I was not thinking about the spring in between the breech face and firing pin that even when completely compressed wont allow the firing pin to protrude far enough-not even close- to the larger diameter of the pin to get stuck. WIN.
