Can anything compare to KelTec size?

I need a carry gun (front pocket and IWB) smaller than my Glock 30. Is there anything else out there in the size/weight range of the KelTec P11 that offers as much power (9mm) and capacity (10+1)? Does anything else even come close? I've had two KelTecs before and feel stupid for selling them both as they both just worked fine. Was bored and wanting something new. Anything else I should consider before I buy another P11. Thanks for any input.

I have considered the Colt Pony LW .380 and loading it with CorBon or Triton +p ammo. I guess availability is now pretty limited. The Colt Pocket Nine would have been a nice alternative if it had been around a bit longer.

I just got rid of a Pony Pocketlite. The operative phrase there is "got rid of." This was a custom shop special so you'd think that it'd work. Wrong. The weapon would lock back with rounds still in the chamber (with my thumb no where near the slide stop) was inaccurate and fairly unreliable. All in all, if I have to depend on a .380 for defense, it'd better be perfect in every way. This one wasn't.

My recommendation: if you like Glocks, get a 26. Identical operation and smaller. The Kel-Tec is a good choice from all I hear, as would be a Kahr or Kahr Polymer.

Maybe I missed comething here, but the .380s being discussed don't come up to the power of the 9mm in the Kel-Tec P11. I can't think of a smaller and lighter 9mm, The Colt Pocket Nine is about the same size, ditto the Micro Kahr and FEG's cut-down version of their HiPower copy, but they're all metal frames that weigh more. The AMT Back-Up comes in a variety of calibers, not sure about its weight but it's metal too.

While I don't like the Taurus PT-111 (I consider it a more-expensive, less functional knockoff of the Kel-Tec P11), Taurus has just introduced a new line of Millenium pistols (based on the PT-111) in Titanium and polymer.

If they've got the bugs worked out, these should be the same size as the Kel-Tec P11 (which I own), but in .380, 9mm, .40 and .45 caliber -- and all with 10 round capacity -- but even lighter!

I would consider going from 9mm +p to .380 +p (corbon or triton) if I could get a pistol as small and as light as a KelTec P11 with a decent length trigger pull and reliability (works without being returned to the factory regularly, that seems to happen more often with KelTecs). Problem is I don't know who makes that pistol. The Colt Pony LW trigger is about as bad as the KT with less ammo capacity. A S&W j-frame only has 5 shots (unless you go to .32 Mag). What to do, buy another KelTec I guess.
