Can anyone give me a date/price for my Remington 1100?

I believe it is from the 1960s or early 70s. Most of the old ones I've seen have a vented barrel but this one doesnt. The magazine plug is wooden. I've heard only the early ones have that. Also, the barrel markings don't seem to be what I would expect according to my Internet research. The serial number is 133917V. I was thinking of replacing the stock and barrel, how will that effect the value? I was going to post pics but I can't figure it out.

The first 1100 touched was a 1972 model, and it had a vent rib. I'll take a guess that the barrel may have been a replacement. Regardless, older 1100's go for around $400-450 around here, depending on barrel choke and condition of course.

i bought a 12ga plain barreled 1100 brand new in the mid 60,s for 150.00 + 9.00 tax. eastbank.

My vented barrel 20g 1100 that I shoot clays with is believed to be a mid 60's model (never ran the serial number but bought it from the original owner) and has the 12g receiver. Its a "X" model. I have its 870 brother, also a mid 60's "X" model.

That serial number should be 1964. If it has a barrel date code that may narrow it down.
