just curious on what the value is, roughly.

just be be clear, Im not asking for offers. at the moment I have no desire to sell it as it was my grandfathers, just curious.

thanks. had never even thought about it untill a few days ago. wife asked how much he paid for it, he traded a worn out engine part from some type of farm tractor/combine for it a long long time ago. then I said "now its probably worth...ummm...I have no idea."
so thanks!!! if I ever do part with it I will most likely use it as a trade/partial trade on another firearm. How much would it cost to fix the chipping in the stocks (theres quite a few chips and scratches but none are deep or big) and I assume replace the short barrel since it has quite a bit of rust damage from when my father kept it in the back of his closet. would it be worth it to fix/replace them? the shoulder stock and short barrel? or would that just be spending money but not increasing the value? would it lower the value to not have the originals?
