Man oh man I'd really like to shoot all virus makers. Which gun/caliber would be best? I'm thinking something in .177 or 14 caliber, so it's a slow, agonizing death.
OK, now that we're discussing guns, I'm wondering if anyone can tell me if this is likely real or bogus. This is the email reply I got after sending an email (WITHOUT attachments) to a friend:
"ALERT! WebZone's anti-virus firewall software has detected the [JS/Kak.worm] virus
in/attached to the E-mail you have recently sent to <dthompson@webzone.net> . The
virus was cleaned from the message and the message was sent on to the recipient(s).
However, we recommend you take immediate action to remove the virus from your system. We
suggest the anti-virus software at http://www.mcafee.com. Note that this is an
informational E-mail only - do not reply to this address, as it is not monitored."
First of all, yes my computer has been acting strangely, but then again, what's new about that? Second, is this just a marketing ploy, you think? Third, what is the kak.worm virus? Anyone know how bad it is? Fourth, what should I do? Panic? Get a virus program? Which one? Are any good ones free to download somewhere? Quit using the computer temporarily until a fix is found? Can a virus be detected in an email with no attachments? Please help. I really would rather not lose my entire hard drive, all others factors being equal. Thank you kindly in advance.
Maybe a taser gun until dead.....
