6.5X47 uses a standard .470" rim diameter (308/30-06 rim size), and is 1.845" long, with a .451" shoulder (30 degrees) and a .295" neck.
260 Remington uses a .470" rimdiameter (308/30-06 rim size), is 2.035" long, with a .454" shoulder (20 degrees) with a .259" neck.
Since the shoulder dimension on the 260 Remington is larger than the shoulder dimensions of the 6.5X47 Lapua with a longer case and a shallower shoulder, it will clean up just fine. Check the rifling twist to make sure you use the appropriate bullets, but it should work fine.
