Cameras to monitor Government Offices?

Here is an idea for discussion. Since we have cameras constantly watching the public at every intersection, etc., what do you guys think about cameras that could be monitored by citizen groups, mounted in every government representative's office at every City, County, State, and Federal level?

Wouldn't that be what would actually cut down on campaign finance abuses?

No, it wouldn't cut down on campaign finance abuses.

The checks are given at private parties on private property, not in some senator's office.

Savings from Congress not spending ludicrous amounts of money on goofy pork barrell ideas? (I am just assuming if all Congresspeople were watched in their offices, there would be less pork barrell multi million dollar grants for studying the sex life of frogs, etc)

IMO, the best way to get rid of abuses is to get people into office who only ran because they care about their countryfolk, not the money...

And the best way to do that is to quit paying all the politicians so darn much... Make it more profitable to go into buisness, instead.
