Picked one up recently with a 6" barrel, wanted it for target shooting and got an 8" barrel for it right away. So far I have been very pleased but it sure is heavy with that 8" barrel. Would like a nice set of Roper style grips for it but so far Houge is the only company offering anything and theirs are $150/$200.
Don't mind the cost but I hate ordering on line because you can't get a feel for how they fit your hand. So far the only .357 Mag. loads I've made have been 14.3 gr. of 2400 under a 158gr. XTP. Going to try 16gr. of 296 next.
