Callahan speedlock question

Any thoughts on changeing out the fireing pin assembuly on a model 700 to improve lock time. I read somewhere it would improve accuracy. The rifle shoots pretty well as is. It has the new trigger remington came out with a few years ago wich I happen to like but there is room for improvement. They say that a new speed lock assembaly will improve the trigger as well. This is a plane SPS 700 that has had a glass bedding job done by me and my dad. The gun shoots consistant 3/4" groups with my handloads.

Lightweight firing pins/speedlock kits will make a noticeable difference in rifles with slow lock times like Mausers, Win Model 70s, etc, but probably have little noticeable effect in a Rem 700, which already has a fast lock time.
