"This Illinois Council Against Handgun Violence will again hold their City of
Chicago approved anti-gun rally on Monday October 2, 2000.

These clowns have the full cooperation of Mayor Daley who will attend along
with gun hating Cook County State's Attorney Richard Devine. Daley will send
city employees and even bus loads of kids who should be in school to attend.
This is a weekday so it is nearly impossible for gun supporters to get
anyone to attend. Accordingly, the rally looks like everyone hates guns and
no gun supporters show up.

If you can make it let me know. Last year we had about 5 of us and they had
about 300. They keep us roped off far from the crowd. Maybe we can do better
this year.

I will bring a bull horn. If you have one to bring one as we will need them
to out shout them.

Make sure to wear your TRT T Shirt if you have one. If you don't, click on
the link to the TRT at www.concealcarry.org to get one. They look good too.
I don't make any money from them or you can make your own.

Even if you don't belong to TRT, we have t ostart showing up at these Daley anti-gun propaganda book burnings! We can no longer afford to just chat on web boards. You can contact John directly if you want to go we need more than 5 people to show up(like the last time.) It is a work day, so take the day off, I am and will probably bring my wife and baby (weather permitting). I will post more info when it is made available.

$hit or get off the pot!

I might be able to make it. We had a protest locally and I had a ball. Being on monday though is going to be a problem. I would love to go!

"We are fast approaching the stage of the ultimate inversion: the stage where the government is free to do anything it pleases, while the citizens may act only by permission; which is the stage of the darkest periods of human history, the stage of rule by brute force."

That part about a weekday is true. Easy enough for Daley to put out word that it would be just dandy to take a half-day to carry a sign, but let me try to talk my principal into letting me go to a pro-gun rally while he looks for a sub, esp. on the first day of basketball practice. This really sucks. I think I'll try to get the time anyway. Gotta take the plunge sooner or later.

There's some serious garbage going on in my life right now. But keep this topic on the front burner and I'll do all that I can to be there.

More info if you plan on attending we need numbers!!.

"ICHV's 18th Annual "HATE" Rally Against Handgun Violence will be held
on Monday, October 2, 2000 from 12:00 noon to 1:00 PM at the John C.
Kluczynski Federal Plaza, 230 S. Dearborn Street in Chicago. The rally is
close to Metra and CTA. Folks, if you have not been to one of these rally's,
you need to go. These people are such liars you will puke in the street
listening to them. This nation is at great risk and if you come you will see
living breathing traitors in action. Their tactic is to hold the rally on a
weekday when most can't get off work and then pack the rally with bussed in
school kids and Democrat Party machine workers on Daley's payroll. Yes, they
get PAID to be there and are subsidized by the taxpayers. We pay those taxes
and go at our own expense. Sounds fair to pay for our rights to be stripped
from us don't it?

Here is what you can do to increase our numbers which in years past have
been in sharp decline:

* Bring 5 people with you to the October 2 Rally
* Call 5 friends and ask them bring 5 people with them to the Rally on
October 2
* Spend 5 minutes of your lunchtime asking others in your office and in your
building to attend the Rally event on October 2"

I've already burned up my vacation time for the year on this stuff, or I'd be there. Eventually, we're going to have to go on the offensive, rather than be on the defensive all the time, and we can plan those for Saturdays. :)
