California Shooters

I was reading the monthly publication of the California Rifle and Pistol Association the other day. (It also is called "The Firing Line".) One of the regular features is a column where they summarize pending legislation and show its status. Very often I see "failed passage" or "died in committee" in the status column for anti-gun legislation. Sometimes the governor even vetos.

This doesn't just happen. I know this, because I vote in this state, and I'm here to tell you our politicians don't have enough sense to reject this stuff out of hand. The CRPA does a lot of very effective lobbying and presents the truth to the lawmakers. CRPA makes a big difference.

I urge everyone (even non-Californians!) to join CRPA. You get a lot of bang for your buck, and this in a state where we can use a lot of bang. CRPA membership numbers are important, moreso in election years. Also, consider what will happen (as it inevitably will) when we get a strongly anti-gun governor back in office.

Please join CRPA!
