With the brown-out mess fresh in the minds of Californicators, the time is ripe to become political and work to elect or defeat your politico of choice, or run for office yourself.
Some of the folks who voted for this so-called "de-regulation" which is actually re-regulation are the same who voted for these gun bans. I suggest you form a group in your area and try to find coalitions of afronted California citizen groups and get support to change the look of your local City Council, County Board of Supervisors, or State Legislature.
Or you can sit back and chant "Molon Labe" in the dark.
