California Microstamping

AB 352 that would require microstamping of handguns in the PRK was defeated in the closing hours of the assembly.

AB 2714, that would require ID for ammo purchases and weaken pre-emption laws is going to the governors desk. For those of you who don't know, the states pre-emption laws are what were used to defeat San Franlooney's gun ban law. Weakening pre-emption laws will allow cities and towns to write their own gun laws.

I wouldn't put it past our twisted and evil politico's. However, I'm hoping that if this is signed into law and the "will" of the people in cities and counties now trumps state law, they will not remember that I live in a fairly gun friendly county and town. The will of the people here may not be what they expect.

Maybe some red-colored county can legalize class 3 weapons as a response.

Then some counties can also reopen mountain lion hunting. This will all happen shortly after the IRS is abolished.
