Let's turn it around!!! Instead of letting the media's coverage of recent criminal-caused tragedies put lawful gun owners on the defensive, we should harness the coverage that these issues are getting, and promote a CCW movement. Isn't it conceivable that Furrow couldn't have killed the mailman after the Jewish center shooting if someone at the center had been lawfully armed? or vice versa? Or in Atlanta, if that crazy had been stopped by someone in the first office he went in, wouldn't that have saved people in the second office he went in? WE ALL KNOW that armed citizens are the best defense against crime, but now we need to teach THEM. I know, it may seem insensitive to capitalize on the recent tragedies. But wouldn't you rather capitalize on them to protect and preserve a constitutional right than capitalize on them to infringe futher upon those rights? That's what they're doing. Everyone knows it. There's nothing wrong with us doing the same thing. If anything, it will make our society safer.
