One last shot
Calif. Supreme Court to review gun liability suit
San Jose Mercury News
California's Supreme Court has agreed to review a lower court decision
which, for the first time in U.S. history, would have allowed gun makers
to be held responsible for crimes committed with their firearms. In a
decision which sets the stage for a new legal struggle over gun
liability, the court decided 6-1 to set aside a state appeals court
ruling which allowed victims of a San Francisco massacre to sue
Miami-based Navegar Inc., which made the TEC-9-type guns used to kill
eight people and wound six others in the 1993 rampage.

Gun Control: The proposition that a woman found dead in an alley, raped and strangled with her own panty hose, is more acceptable than allowing that same woman to defend herself with a firearm.
