Calico 22 LR Pistol

I've been thinking about getting one of these for sometime now. I shot my Calico 9 mm carbine today and really enjoyed it although it jammed a few times. I don't know of any weapon design like the Calicos, so they hold a very special place in my collection. Anyway, has anyone shot the 22 LR pistol version? Since ammo is dirt cheap, you could fire away all day and not break the bank. I would appreciate all opinions. Thanks.

I too have the Calico 9mm carbine with the collapsible stock. I have had no problems with mine and it is fun to shoot. My son has the .22 pistol. I put a laser sight on it for him and it is a little lead hose. Not a match gun and has crappy sights, but with that laser shooting from the hip with that 100 round mag is a lot of fun. The only reliablity issue we have had is when the mag is fully loaded and wound all the way up. Once it gets down to about 90 rounds it runs fine.
