This is my new term for the constant worry that a given caliber is insufficient for a defensive purpose.

I still suffer occasionally, especially after shooting a suspended pop can 50+ times with my fave Beretta Elites, and then firing 1 .45 slug at the same evil can which sends the unlucky sucker to its grave. Kinda makes me think...

One can have too much gun but you have to really try. 45/70 derringer comes to mind.

Anyone heard of the .450 Bond. It's a proprietary cartridge that's supposed to put out more energy from a Bond derringer than a .45-70.

I thought this was going to be about the Californic@tion of neighboring states.

Folks moving to next door states aren't so bad if they move here 'cause they want to live in Nevada ( Or wherever ). Those guys will learn the local ways and follow 'em.

It's the newbies that come here and immediately assume they should change perfectly fine states like Oregon, Idaho, Nevada and Arizona into the image of the same sinking ship those rats abandoned. God do I wish we could give Las Vegas to California before it destroys the last remaining parts of real Nevada.

RetDet, folks like you are Nevada natives who had the misfortune to be born elsewhere.

But down in Vegas, you are directly in the path of a coming stampede of all the jerks you moved there to get away from.
