Hi everyone,
Does anyone have first hand experience with this rest?? Im just getting into 50 yard benchrest (CZ 452) and have tried a series of different rests. The combos that I have been using are a Caldwell BR front rest with a rear shooters ridge bag. The problem that I am having is that everytime I work the bolt, I have to readjust the rifle, and it ALWAYS seems to me that I am fighting with the rear bag. Most of the time, I feel I am putting to much pressure on the rifle to keep the crosshairs on target, due to me fighting the rear bag.
I looked at the fire control from caldwel, and figure that the ease of adjustment in the front can compensate for all the fighting I am doing with the rear bag.
Any thoughts?? Maybe my technique is all wrong. Like I said, benchrest is a new type of shooting for me! THANKS!!
