MY CAI Galil Golani I got in 2009 with ARM modifications. (McGiver style.) The only way parts are just not out there anymore unless I get a $900 kit. I used a handle and bi-pod that mounts on rails I installed. The bi-pod does fold under the fore grip. I did get a genuine wood fore grip. This will have to do for now.

What project to do next?

You need to do an HK G3 project!!

The G3 is not an easy project. I'm a machinist (at some level anyways) and I've paid over $200 just in jigs (the simpler jigs I'm making myself) and also had to call in favors to get an afternoon with a professional tig welder to get it finished.

If you have the capability to work on a Galil, maybe an RPK isn't out of range?

Got a CETME and FAL already.
I have 3 Nepalese P-1878 Martini-Henry Francotte Pattern Rifle I got a decade ago when they were inexpensive- They are in Untouched Condition from IMA One of them is a parts battle field pick up gun.
