My buckle hanger broke on my Browjn CS gunbelt. I had doubts when I saw it due tio the small diameter wire used to form the loop. Well it let go...
I just ordered a 1 3/4" Triple K gunbelt from Cabelas agai but I feel this one will be sturdier due to the sturdier style of buckle.
I was wondering?
Will the loss of the 1/2 " of leather make my cross-draw holsters slip around or will it hold fast?
I was very pleased to discover that the Triple K Hickock Holster has an angled flap sewen to the back forming a nice Cross Draw angle!
The 1851 Navy has a long barrel and is best drawn in a Cross Draw manner than as a Strong Side, straight up draw.
Using this belt and the Hickoock Holster I can wear my '51 on the left and wear my '62 Police model in a vertical draw holster on the right.
As we all know, with Cap and Ball Revolvers, it's always wise to have a second revolver available!
The Full size Navy is my primary revolver with the Police being secondary.
II sure hope thisTriple K product proves out as sturdy as all their other products (save one) have for me!
Any experiences with this belt would be greatly appreciated to relieve my mind!
Thanks,
ZVP
