Went to Cabela's yesterday for the 8am door buster River American Rimfire 17hmr. Was impressed with how it handled and felt and bought it like 6 other guys at the counter. It was on sale for $239.99 then with my coupon I got it for $199.99. Well worth standing in line in the cold then at the counter.

That's a pretty good deal. I myself own a savage .22 magnum, and the .17 hmr is a similar caliber and the Ruger a high quality gun. I think you'll love the cartridges and the gun. Let us know it's accuracy when you get a chance to take it to to the range.
