C&R License question?

Hey guys I will soon be turning 21 on March the 1st and I already know I want to get a C&R license, I'm inpatient and i want to get it as soon as possible. I was wondering if I could fill out the paperwork now and send it in? Would they go ahead and process the forms since i will be 21 by the time i get my license? If anyone has any insights or has the info let me know........Oh my first gun with the c&R will be a yugoslav tokarev!!!

Be patient. It's only a month to wait. If they start to process your application before your birthday they will reject it, send you notice, and you start all over again.

Yes, as specified by 27 CFR Part 478.47. It's also explained in the book that comes with the license (sort of putting the cart before the horse, but I guess that's the government for you.)

I rec'd my C&R is about 5 weeks, so you're almost there!
