Hello Everyone :)

This it my first post on this forum, and as I started to look at each forum I noticed there are none listed by caliber i.e. .22, .45, 9mm etc.
I'm just getting into this sport/hobby and I want my wife to get into it also. Hence I'm looking for a good .22LR, but now I need to look or search different forums to get what I'm looking for in regards to a .22. I thought it would be much easier if there was a separate forum for that particular caliber.

Just my suggestion/.02

Welcome to The Firing Line, Slug. :)

What kind of .22 LR firearm are you looking for?

If you're looking for a .22 rifle, check out our Rifle Forum.

If you're looking for a .22 pistol, check out our Handgun Forum.

There are literally hundreds of different calibers of ammunition. It would be impossible to maintain a forum for each one, so we break them up into firearm type instead.

Hope this helps.

Thank you BluesMan!

I knew there was a purpose for it not being that way, just not sure why.

I'm looking for a pistol to get my wife involved with this sport. I've been told the Ruger MKII Slab Side is a good start, so I'll do a search on that in the Handgun form.

Thanks again for your direction. :)

Aloha!

The Ruger MKII is a good recommendation. I have an MKI with a Millet Red Dot sight on it that is great fun for beginners. The manual of arms is simple and all you have to do is put the dot on the target and squeeze the trigger. It's a great little gun for beginners.

I've heard the Browning Buckmark is a good pistol too.

Best of luck!
