BVAC fmj 115gr 9mm, once fired brass, found it on cheaper than dirt. Has anyone been brave enough to buy these? its only $175 for 1000 rds. Are they any good?

Bvac

Yes I have used them in my w. German p226. First few boxes word great then this last outing to the ranger I had a box and it would not feed in in my gun. My range let me clean the gun in the shop gave me a new magnify the shelf still same problem. I then loaded it up it the ranges pt92 ran just fine I was ashamed of my 226 lol. I have to say the case bottoms looked like they had been shaved of brass on one side like a grinder had hit it or something? Knowing it couldn't be only the ammos fault I bought all new springs for my mags from wolf gonna try it out this weekend. I also use their 44 magnum and 45 acp seems to be fine ammo maybe I just got a bad batch and my slings were a little worn I'll try it again this weekend.

Srry I'm at work on my iPhone so forgive the grammar errors

I have used it and it's OK. I felt it was a little dirtier than some others but all-in-all I can not give it a bad review.

Tulas 45 ammo is good except my p220 mags couldn't get more than 3 or 4 in the mag and the bullet seemed to be seated to far forward.

BVAC was started by a former HSM manager. I have 500rds of .223 plinker and they seem fine. HSM ammo was and is very good. I will buy more BVAC.

The Tula at Walmart is the same Tula from Russia that has been around for awhile. It's not the best but it serves the purpose. I prefer it over reloaded ammo. Unless you plan on reloading ammo, the steel cases are not a problem for function. Some ranges don't like/allow it because they can't sell the empties to reloading companies but that's not a concern for me. It's not the best but it's not too horrible.
