Buy a new Glock 42?

Been looking at the G42. Feels and handles like it would be great carry gun. But reading reviews on it and some say its too picky about which ammo to use and some say it shoots a wide variaty of different weights and brands of ammo with no problems.
Also are there any problems with the functions of the gun?
Any and all feedback is appreciated as always. Thanks.
 
I picked one up one a lark (not a huge 380 fan). So far its been perfectly reliable. About 200 rounds of FMJ and 60 Speer Golddots.

Its a good mid size 380 pistol. Easy to shoot well, not as small as some others in the same caliber
 
Mine hasn't had any issues, but I haven't tried a wide range of bullet weights...
I shot a couple different brands of 90gr hollow points (20 rounds each of Hornady and Federal) but I'm not really counting on JHPs to expand at such low velocities, so I just go with Winchester's white box 100rd boxes of 95gr FMJ flat points, and they shoot well in my gun.
