Read here tonight and heard this on the World News that Dick Cheney has a good chance to be Bush's VP. I guess Gov. Ridge is out. I thought Cheney did a good job as Secretary of Defense and the handling of the Pesian Gulf war. What are your thoughts. I don't know where he stands with the 2nd Admendment though.

Yep, the news reports make it look like Cheney's the man. I can't for the life of me recall him ever expressing an opinion on that most important of all topics -- RKBA. But surely someone here on TFL knows his record.
 
Usually the Anti's are very outspoken about depriving rights from people . Cheney has not spewed a bunch of factless garbage as most Anti's do so we can feel safe with him .
ALSO I'm sure that him and Dubya gonna have quite a pow wow before anyone answers any questions . He has to be another Dubya or there will be friction . Actually Dubya could consider Cheney himself if Dubya stops breathing . Cheney is one heartbeat from the Oval Office . If Dubya has a plan and a vision Cheney must share it or he is not a viable candidate . I don't sweat his views .
Also it's good that Cheney is a stout fella . Somebody is gonna have to be there when Dubya runs Reno's commie butt out of a job .By and large Reno is ......well by and large .

I heard that Cheney has had a history of heart trouble. Supposedly he has had 3 mild heart attacks and has had triple bypass surgery.

He is 5 years older than GWB I think.
