Bushnell TRS-25 Search

I've been advised to get a Bushnell TRS-25 Red Dot scope for my plinking machine. I have found them for about $40. On the other hand Ebay lists the same scope for about $25.
Are those Ebay scopes just "Knock-Offs" of the Bushnell scope? Where are real Bushnell scopes made?

It's not a scope, it's a red dot. Not the same thing. It's made in China, so there's not much reason to make a "knock off" of a cheap product to begin with. People make "knock offs" of expensive things and offer them for "bargain" prices. Here, what's the point of making a knock off of a forty dollar red dot and selling it for twenty-five bucks? None. I owned a couple of them, and they were at best, OK. Some have a significant amount of parallax and some don't. I've seen them both ways. For the low end of red dots, they're probably one of the better introductory models you can get.

In my past reading of on line "sales" events. Went looking for it again, couldn't find it. Sorry.
Yes I meant red dot, but advertisers include the word scope in their blurbs.
The cheapie is all I need thanks.

Just FYI, it's a pretty decent dot... I have 2. One is better than the other... the knob on one is very difficult to turn, the other is easy. They both seem to work just as well as either or. I have one mounted on my Buckmark, the other is a loaner for my other weapons, including AR's.

I bought mine a few years ago on Amazon... FREE shipping.
Since it's sold by Amazon, it's covered by the Amazon return/refund policy.

I have it on my Colt M4 and it's still running and still using the original battery.
Some people are using the Bushnell on shotguns shooting buckshot and slugs and they seem to stand up.

For a time there was a problem with the new version.
The old version has the Bushnell name in gold-tan letters. The new version is in white.
It had some problems with the dot disappearing if you moved your head and some other issues.
They seem to have correct the problems.

If you look down the page they have some inexpensive mounts that while cheap, they also work.
