BUSHNELL "Sportsview" Scope

I have several "Sportsview" scopes on my 22 rimfire and 22 centerfire rifles. I am wondering what they are designed for. Can they be used for all/large caliber/magnum caliber rifles or just 22's?

I can't speak for the "newer" Sportview scopes....but I have a 3x9 on my .30/06.......its been there for almost 20 years at it has never given me cause for worry. I think I bought it for $40.00???? I don't remember. It has never fogged, never lost zero.....leaves me nothing to desire. Are there better scops out there, of course. But I won't be changing mine anytime soon.

IIRC, "Sportview" was the bottom of the Bushnell line, with "Banner" the middle and "Scopechief" the top. Now, the "Elite" is the top of Bushnell's line; "Elite" 'scopes were badged "Bausch&Lomb" until the last year or two.

IMHO a rimfire or small caliber centerfire plinker is the appropriate place for a Sportview.

Hank,
The Bushnell Trophy is in there as well. I have 2 of the Trophy's, one on a Ruger Super Redhawk .44 mag and one on my .30-06.
Both have given great service, so far.
Jim
