Bushnell Scope troubles ???

AC's & 45's

I have a Bushnell Sportview 3x9x32 mounted on my 10/22.
When I dryfire the cross hairs appear to jump.
Is this normal? It isn't noticable with live fire.

It doesn't matter how securely I hold the rifle. It still persists. I have verified that everything including the action in the stock is tight.

Is this really a problem or am I being overly critical.

I have been considering replacing the scope with a Simmons
22Mag series 3x9 x 39. I am open to all advice and opinions. Thanks !!

I have had or seen others have so much trouble with the cheaper scopes that I won't put one even on a 22.Buy a good scope. forget the Tascos , Bushnells, and Simmons. Leupold is the best American scope. At least get a Weaver or Redfield or Burris it will be money well spent.
