Bushnell 3200 or the 4200??

Question: Should I buy the Bushnell 3200 tac. 5-15x or the 4200 tac. 6-24x?

This scope is to hold me over for a while just until I get enough to get
the A5 stock and some extra goodies and bump up to better glass.

Now since its a temp scope to hold me over for a year or two is the 4200
really worth that extra cash? Iv done a fair amount of research on the 3200
but i kinda figured the 24x and a little bigger front glass would make it a little
better of a investment. Because again if my main glass goes down ill be
reverting back to this one for a little while..

So should I just save the extra $75-$150 on the 3200 or just spend that
little extra and get the 4200.

Application: Target/paper shooting 200-850+ yds
Remington 700 SPS tac .308 WIN

Do you shoot anywhere around 1000??

The only thing that bothers me about the 4200 is the 50 MOA range of
adjustment while the 3200 has a full rang of 100 MOA.... I wanna know how it
fairs iv read it barley makes it out past the 900 yard mark with a 20 MOA base.

Yeah, the adjustment range IS a big plus for the 3200.

Plus, if you're going to upgrade to even better in 1 or 2 years, the 3200 elite is plenty serviceable if you want to save some dough. The only thing is if you buy the 4200, you may not want to upgrade after shooting it awhile. That'll save even more dough;)

Alright thanks for your replys guys.. Ill probably just end up going with the 3200
I think that will do for me.
