Hi all,
I am considering a Bushmaster ACR. I was wondering what owners of them had to say about them. It looks like the price has come down quite a bit and so it could be an option.
Now as a Jersey resident I would be buying a basic fixed stock , MOE- handguard version And I got quoted about $1,700 ( if anyone knows better plz mention thanks !). What I really want is the SPR version. How does that work , do I buy the PRS-style stock and 18" barrel separately , or is there an actual SPR version for sale ? To be honest I would want both , one of the main reasons for getting the ACR would be for changing from the CQB carbine weapon, with the fixed stock/16.5" bbl to the DMR/SPR rifle with the PRS stock and 18" barrel. And I also wonder, how much you think that barrel and stock will cost in addition ,?
Thanks for the info and help , I'm not dead set on an ACR but intrigued by the versatility and I love Magpul. And I just have a feeling that the ACR is going to wind up being big time and popular in a year or two n
