I just posted this to the Range house but I figured we could be happy here as well.

In a small town located in New Hampshire where only 32 people live and they have 27 registered voters. They just announced the results of their election.

Bush 21
Gore 5
Nader 1

GO GO GO!!!

There is a law in this town that allows any who are registered to vote starting at midnite and the results may be posted once all registered voters have put in their ballots!
 
StephenT, that is most likely an "exit poll" where the voters are asked how they voted as they exit the polling location. It's not a true vote count.
 
No, that is the count. The polls open at midnight, they vote and the ballots are counted and the results announced.

Keep in mind that this is a very Republican precint, so don't get too cocky about it.

In Maine, a high school in Newport with 800 students had a mock election Tues. and Bush won 4 to one. It was on the 6PM news all over the state. Also, a small town called Lakeview Plantation has done its vote, and Bush won there too. As Maine goes...
