Com'on California, earn the right to drop the "K" off the front of your name!

How can they even predict Kalifornia? NBC was putting out non-stop this morning that 51% of their voters were absentee and that they wouldn't begin counting till Wednesday and might not have the results till Friday? I sure hope you guys are right, I have been monitoring NewsMax and got out of bed cause I can't sleep. I am voted and "prayed" out!

California update:

Bush 1,048,701
Gore 993,351

We might have to wait until the absentee ballots are counted. I think Cali counts them last, so this could possibly have to wait until tomorrow to be decided.

My little heart cannot take it much longer. ;)

Kinda like calling the Super Bowl in the first quarter.

Sadly, in politics their usually quite good at it :(.

Bush up by 1% in CA. In a few hours I go to work. Good thing I don't operate heavy machinery. ;)

Gore takes the lead in California.

35% of precincts reporting:

Gore: 1,641,110Ê 49%
Bush: 1,517,786Ê 46%

If Cali does go to algore, it will make Florida absolutely necessary for Bush to win. (Unless he takes Oregon, Wisconsin and Iowa. Iowa looks like it will go to Gore right now.)

A California win for Gore does not mean Bush must win Florida...however, he must win every other undecided state at this time. On the other hand, if Bush wins Florida, he wins.

I would think that there were a lot of absentee ballots still to be counted in both Kali and Fla. Most of them would be military.

Scary
