Hello everyone. I'm in need of a good scope for my CZ 550 varmint 22-250. I seen the burris eliminator and it looks nice.. Any input on this scope is much appreciated. Thanks!!

My cousin has one and really likes it. Two years ago he shot an elk using it on a shot I would not have even attempted, elk was going straight away at 270 yards. He aimed for the anus and the shot was about 1/2" low and 1/4" left, just about perfect. Animal folded up and the real work started then:D In the little I've gotten to play with that scope I really don't have anything bad to say about it. Decent glass with added benefit of range finding/bullet compensation abilities.

shane you have a flat shooting round . How far are you trying to shoot ? Even with the burris you still have to shoot a load and know what a load does out to 500 yards to adjust the burris .

Read this review from chuck hawks. I am not a big believer I all these guys say But using a couple lasers for years I read the same issues with the burris eliminator.

Its ability to give a honest return on a deer is limited to 500 yards as are many lasers. Smaller varmint sized game in a grassy field ?? No so good .

If you own a good enough rifle scope now for your needs invest in this range finder as it will be far better tha. the burris at real laser yardage radings. Leica CRF1600 B- http://swfa.com/Leica-7x24-CRF-1600-B-Rangefinder-P53924.aspx

Maybe adjust your zero to 300 if long shots are needed and reaching to a known yardage shorter or longer is much easier with a simple cheat sheet for your load with a good range finder like the leica.
read here about different point blak zero.
