In a previous thread I stated that I thought I would have to
get myself a mouse gun one of these days to go along with
my M14. I was set on a new AR-180B, until I started looking
at the various AR websites.

I found a neat little gun called the M17S from Bushmaster, and it
looks a lot like the thing that the Brits are hauling around now.

Anyone got one? And if so how do you like it?

Never shot one myself. But if you try the search function I know that there have been several threads about these over the last few years.

I've been looking at them for a while - thought I have had no opportunity to fire one.

Biggest complaint seems to be about the trigger mechanism, as it is quite non-standard. There are web sites out with tips on how to smoothen them out...(bookmarked at work, unfortunately).

Some of the construction is also mentioned, esp the iron sights.

But considering the cost, I can live with the worst I have heard, at least once I finish paying off my last purchases.
