bullet for hunting

Do any of you have experience using Black Hills 68 gr HP in .223 for hunting the little critters and coyotes?

My situation is I have a new .223 and I was hoping for a do-it-all bullet.. accurate enough for non-competitive target work and good for hunting too (aren't we all, though? lol). Today I was out and was oh-so happy to find a local shop that sells the BHs in 68gr for cheaper than I can order them online! :D Haven't had a chance to shoot them yet, but I've got high hopes.

From around 100 yards on in for coyotes and smaller, any old bullet will do just fine. GI, or any soft- or hollow-point. It doesn't matter. Farther out, I wouldn't use the GI stuff; not enough expansion to suit me.

I reload, so I generally use Sierra bullets in the 50- to 55-grain range.

Black Hills has a good reputation, so that load oughta work as good as any.

I've tried it with that particular bullet, and while it's highly accurate, it's also pretty ineffective. I made a bunch of nice little holes in prairie dogs who just sat there waiting to get shot again. No expansion.
