Ok guys looking for some help. I would like to find some 600 grain lead bullets for my winchester 1886 or make them.
If anyone knows a source I'd sure like to buy some. If not I have a lathe and mill and believe I could make a cherry and then a mold. I'm not versed in bullet shapes however, but think I would want .510 diameter, about 1.37" long.....from there I'm shaky is there a book I could get to determine driving bands, olive, nose etc. Etc or anyone with any ideas. I'd sure appreciate any help toward these bullets.
