bulk .40s&w ammo

found a company called usa ammo that has bulk reloaded ammo at a reasonable price. (1000rds for 277.00 w/ shipping) they are surpisingly accurate and not as dirty as i was expecting. i've shot around 300 rounds and had only malfunction due to operator error. i would recommend using them again.

At roughly $0.28 per round, it's not significantly cheaper than Federal Champion factory-fresh ammo sold at Walmart . . . when you can find it, of course.

The Federal has been running $14.47/50ct in my area.

Personally, if I'm going to shoot reloads, I'd rather shoot my own at $0.11/round

The Federal Champion is $13.97 in my area for .40S&W. This comes out to $279.40 + tax for 1000 rounds. So not much difference.

true. but its gettin harder and harder to find the federals at a walmart around here. but they keep .35 Rem in stock?! go figure!

I have this brand of ammo and can tell you it does work in 40 S&W and 9mm Luger Reman. from experience. I have not had one failure in either. It is accurate and inexpensive. I recommend USAAMMO.

I caught some 100rd boxes of 40 cal Winchester at Walmart here in Alabama for $30.45 plus tax before I started loading. This was about a month ago but a buddy bought some a few weeks back. Y'all are getting a little better price though. FullCry

If you save your brass, ship it to http://mastercast.net/amo.htm They sell excellent quality 180gr CNL re-loads for $7/50 rounds. Over the past several years I have shot ~10,000 rounds of their ammo with almost zero problems.
