Anyone out there with experience with the Israeli made 0.45 Bul M5?
I am considering the Commander version , without compensator for a carry gun. I have heard that there may be feeding problems with non hardball ammo and that there may be bushing failures. Can anyone give me input on this?

I have a M5 Commander and haven't had any of those problems. I did have to get a new slide stop though. As to how it stacks up to other 1911's I don't know. It is my only auto but it is now my carry gun and I have put about 2000 rounds through it. All of my failure to feeds came in the first 600 rounds so I wrote that up to break in. No problems since. I haven't had any problems feeding Hydra Shoks either.

Maybe someone with a Bul and a Kimber hi-cap can fill in the blanks as to how good the Bul is.
