Building Ruger 10/22. What Scope?

Hello. I'm building a Ruger 10/22 and I am wondering what kind of scope I should put on it. I bought a Boyds Blaster Applejack stock, and a ER Shaw 18" 22LR Stainless Helical Fluted Barrel. Thanks for the help

Looking for accuracy but don't really want to break the bank. In between $100-200, hopefully closer to 100. Thanks for the tip I'll go check it out.

I've got a Mueller Eraticator on mine and love it. The 8-25X magnification is PLENTY for everything out to 100. The reticle is my favorite of any scope I've owned for a rimfire. The dot is VERY small and doesn't even cover a 1/4" bullseye at 50yards. It's also separated from the micro crosshairs making it a very precise looking dot. The dot itself is illuminated with 11 brightness settings, all very crisp...no blur. It comes in silver or black. The best part about it is it doesn't break the bank at $235 and IMO Mueller makes a great scope and is willing to back it up with a great warranty and equal customer service. If the Eraticator is a bit much, Muellers APV gets high praise over at rimfirecentral and costs around 140 with 4-14X magnification.

Here's my all KIDD component 10/22 with silver Eraticator w/ 3" sunshade...a bit much for some but is perfect for benchrest shooting IMO

Weaver RV-7 2.5-7x28 for around $150. Parallex fixed at 50 yards. Good Japanese glass. I personally own this one and see no need to replace it for something better in a 10/22 for targets under 100 yards (limits of 22 LR).

Weaver Rimfire 3-9x32 with $220 if you need adjustable objective.

Leuphold VX-II 3-9x32 rimfire with AO for $350 if that brand name is important to you.

I've used scopes for over 50 years of shooting and hunting sports, including benchrest and informal turkey shoots. I'm also a retired gunsmith/accurizer and won't keep any scope or rifle that doesn't work great.

One of my latest scopes is a Mueller 4.5-14x. It's very clear, sharp, and the adjustments are accurate. I like it much better than my Nikon Monarch 2.5-10x.

Cost was about $150, as I remember, but the value seems to far exceed the cost.
