Building G3/CETME from Parts Kit?

How difficult is it to cobble together a G3/CETME rifle from a parts kit and a separately purchased receiver? I am fairly mechanically inclined, but I am not a gunsmith by any stretch of the imagination. So, I am curious what level of competency it takes to put one of these guns together from a kit and whether I've got the skills/tools.

Anyone with any experience willing to impart some knowledge to me?

Corrollary: Who sells the best parts kits? Who sells the best receivers?

The best place to find the answers to your questions would be at www.hk91.com. There are alot of people building their own, but with places that advertise in the shotgun news selling new Cetmes for $395 it is probably cheaper to buy one rather than build.
