Anyone who knows how difficult it is to find Buffalo Revolver Bullets in stock anywhere should be happy to hear that Cabela's currently has all sizes of them in stock. Some folks have said that the Buffalo Bullet Co. had closed down but they're in stock for now.

By "outperform" are you referring to accuracy? The conicals are certainly heavier; ergo a potential for higher energy delivered to the target. That's one aspect of performance.
