I'll second the suggestion for the Kel-Tec P11, good gun and simple to operate.
The only problem I have with the Taurus PT11 is it is much more difficult to field strip and reassemble.
HS2000 is about the size of the Glock G19. may be a little bigger than you want but I found mine to be pretty accurate and very reliable. Best thing is the price. you should be able to find the Gen 3 for less than $300. I've had mine about 3 months and have put a few hundred rounds through it. For the money it is a good buy.

1K rounds thru mine as of this past Wed. 2 FTE's with Winchester bulk ammo.
It's accurate, and since I'm a slim fella (5'9", 130lbs, 28" waist) I can hide one IWB pretty well. I'm hoping this also means I'll be able to hide a 1911 just as easily, if not easier.
It points real nice, and the trigger is pretty crisp for that type of action. Best part is it feels like a ~450 dollar gun and I paid under $300 for it (FFL fee and shipping included).
