Buckmark rifle......

Anyone shoot the Browning Buckmark rifle yet?
I got the one without sights, with the bull barrel.
It shoots well, but I was expecting better accuracy.
But then again, it is not an Anschutz.
It is a good off-hand rifle for squirrel.
A little pricy also, but all-in-all, I am happy with the purchase.

I saw it on the Browning site recently. I was favorably impressed with the Buckmark pistol a couple of years ago. (Popped a squirrel at about 15 yards.)
So, what kind of accuracy ARE you getting? I might get one myself...What did you pay, in what state?

List is around $489.00 in Indiana.
I got 7's or better on the NRA 50 ft match target.
It is a quality gun.
Nice stock and overall workmanship is good.

Greetings

I have a Buckmark pistol that now shoots like a house on fire, but I had to adjust the sights. Benchrest that carbine and let us know what your best group is. Mine likes Winchester SuperX (Power Point, Solid point or TU-22 Target).

Regards.

Buckmark Rifle

I handled one with sights and it is well balanced. I have the pistol and am well pleased with it. The PROBLEM is Browning is not releasing to small gunstores in N GA. The store I go to has called every distribator and was advised they have no idea when they will get. Browning seems to be punishing the small gunstores.

Buckmark Rifle

My N GA gunstore got one for me. It is well balanced and functioning was flawless with CCI Mini Mags. This is a fine rifle.
