BSA semi-auto shotgun

A friend of mine bought one of these and I havent really heard of the brand before. I did a search on google and found some disturbing stuff about there semi-autos and couldnt find anyone selling them to get a look at what he had bought. I tried searching on here and didnt find anything either anyone had any experience with these brands of shotguns? Are the things i seen about there semi-autos true or not?

I'm not sure what exactly you've heard about their semi's, but a while ago I got an O/U from them and since then have regretted it every day. There was a problem with almost every thing and when I sent it to the factory they took 6 months and it wasn't even fixed.

If they make their semi's like their O/Us then I fell sorry for your friend.

From what I found on the internet at other places they had a big recall on them something about them being able to fire when the bolt isnt all the way forward and every place I looked people were saying they werent that good the interesting thing is alot of them were saying there o/u were good I guess I'll just have to see how it works out for him when I get back to the states and go shooting clays with him thanks for the info
