BSA SCOPE

Most BSA scopes are made in China. Some of them are good, some are bad. I think the only ones made with Japanese glass are the Platinum series. I had a 4-16x40 Contender that broke within 30 days. :( Luckily I bought it from Midway and they sent me a new one. This one seems to be OK. I just bought a BSA Cats Eye 1.5-4.5x32 shotgun scope as well. I don't know how well it works yet but will know in a week or so. The matte finish on BSA scopes looks real nice. Also, they seem to be nice and bright, especially the Cats Eye models. They do have a limited warranty and if something goes wrong, you send the scope back to the factory in FL and $10 for shipping and they'll repair or replace it - if the problem was from faulty manufacturing. If the scope was simply abused, then they may charge for non-warranty repairs - whatever that means.

Later,
Rich
