What size wrench does it take to take the stock off my browning xt trap combo. And where i can purchase one IN TOWN
I have Ace hardware, Home Depot, Lowes and anything else that you can imagine except a gun shop (That sells trap guns)

How, exactly, are we to know what town that is or what tools the shops in it have available if we don't live there? Call Browning customer service (1-800-322-4626) and ask about the model shotgun you have and what tool you need? Call the shops in your town to see who has one? If none, use the web. Enco, or MSC.

This is another one of those "if it ain't broke" issues. I am not sure I see any need to remove that stock unless it needs replacement.

But anyway, if the stock bolt uses a standard slotted screw head (most Brownings do) you can buy a long (12" blade) screwdriver at Home Depot. In an emergency you might be able to use the lug wrench off your car; the screwdriver end (for removing the wheel disc) works fine for many stock bolts. If using a screwdriver you might have to use a small wrench on the square shaft as those screws are tight.

Just be careful and be sure the screwdriver is seated in the slot before turning it. If it is between the bolt and the side of the hole, turning it will break the stock.
