Browning shows these rifles on their website but none of the distributors down here in the south has any. Has anybody seen one on the shelf anywhere? If so are they as pretty as my wife is going to want hers to be?

Hand picked her stock on a browning x-bolt white medallion yesterday. Looked everywhere between Shreveport and lafayette. Even made several stores pull the rifles still in the box out of the back. Had to get the 270 wsm to get the grain I/she wanted but it was worth it. Beautiful dark burl and she loved it. Why does a company advertise something that nobody can put there hands on? When 6 different distributors tell u they havnt seen one yet; then I figure it shouldn't be advertised!

My Indiana Gun Club (317-485-6540) is Browning Full-Line Dealer. Many maple models, ask for Phillip Baker.Hope this helps. :D

Preciate it gentlemen. A Lil late but better late than never. Maybe she won't like the 270 wsm and want something different and I will get it. I sure like the old A-bolt better than I do the plastic mag x-bolt!

I've never seen the birdseye version but my LGS has several of the Medallion Maple models in stock. They sure stand out on the gun rack.

Upstate I will try to post some pics on here but I use my cell phone not my computer for this. I understand there are plenty of people who lie on here with stories of amazing things but I'm not one of them. Just so you understand my family u should know my gun collection is worth and insured for more than my house, vehicles, and other things. My grandfather and my father had nice collections and I inherited both. They were very well off so I inherited much more than just guns. I am blessed n life being a asset manager for a oilfield company and my wife is a phamicist. We like nice things (guns)! If I were to start posting pics of my beautiful rifles I would have to devote a whole day too that. But maybe I can manage time for just one lol.
